Target Audience

On this picture to the left below is a representation of the audience that my final product is targeted towards. These type of people are usually of the age of a late teen to a young adult who go out to places such as night clubs and parties.

Here is a demographic of who they are
  • Age: 18-28 
  • Gender: Male & Female
  • Working class: middle – upper class
  • Likes: Drinking, Partying, Socializing

 These type of people would still be in education, usually at universities or colleges, they would still have a lot of free time on their hands and
spend a lot of their time taking to friends and going out clubbing. As for shopping they would choose clothes that would be classy, things like dresses and shirts this is due to the high standard of nightclubs with what you wear (thing like trainers are not accepted).

Some of the places they shop are high priced, shops such as Costa Coffee and Next are usually chosen for food, drinks and clothes; with this in mind it shows that they would also be able to afford more expensive things, this showed in the survey I done earlier in the year.

The type of programs that may watch will not be on normal TV, thing like Netflix and amazon prime have attracted these type of people with the type of shows that they produce e.g. walking dead, breaking bad and many more.


As for my magazine I have made sure to target the demographic in the sense of the main image and the style of design of the magazine you can see this where it has a simplistic design and the main image character wears jumper and a cap while using headphones as an accessory. I have also targeted some of the other images towards the target audience, things such as mixer boards have been added to attract the target audience in what brand the artists use which could then intern be used as advertising.
