Colour Mood Board

In my colour mood board I decided to include every colour so that I will give me more options for when it comes to creating my magazine; By doing this it will make is easier to compare which colours goes together. On the mood board I included many different shades of colours, this will help me blend different colours together that may not be typically used, making it different from other techno music magazines.

From looking at other techno music magazines I discovered that the most used colours are purples, green and blues, this may have something to do with the low lighting at a night club or the fact that a lot of DJ boards use theses lights for showing the volume of the music. By using these three colours this will help grab the attention of the target audience for when they look though the magazine rack; this will also keep the theme of the magazine throughout each page.

Because techno music is associated vibrant colours I will be using these three colour, Purple, Blue and greens. I will also be using a lot of darker colours like black and greys to go with the vibrant colours, this will stop the pages from being too colour full.
